Yes, your password must contain a mix of those. Sdfp12345 < something like that should work.

It’s just a security measure, so people won’t use something like “hello” or anything similar. Those passwords are just too easy to guess, so they must be a little more complex.

I had never known about usenet and spent days reading up and looking into different ones. I nearly gave up a couple of times. Made a couple of bad moves but finally got onto ‘Newshosting’ It costs $10 a month but you get the browser program with it and it is really fast . I found that some servers made you pay extra for that like another $10 per month duhhhh.
I looked at the free browsers but they sure weren’t easy for a newbie like me.

I am sure there are many others out there that had never tried usenet and might be scared off by it so thought I would relay my experience. You don’t come any more inexperienced than I am. So if this 60+ old grandma can do it I am sure you all can )

Usenet is brilliant, especially since the announcements that US internet providers will be monitoring which sites you download from, and warn or punish you accordingly.
